Many times, the most important and reliable things in life are not the most exciting or discussed. Many of these items are so perfect at performing their basic tasks that their designs have hardly changed over the years, and they have rarely been the subject of heated discussion among collectors and enthusiasts. 
For Rolex, no watch in their collection captures that spirit better than the Datejust. While some of Rolex’s most famous watch collections are characterized by constant evolution and radical design improvements, Rolex’s evolutionary history is consistent with Datejust, and this replica watch is the mainstay of Rolex’s catalog introduction since the first three-quarters of nearly a century.
In 1945, Rolex made its debut to mark the company’s 40th anniversary. At the time, the Rolex Datejust was the world’s first self-winding watch with a date window that switched automatically at midnight. While this feature may seem trivial now, it was Datejust that first introduced it and forever set the standard for complicated dates on a watch. 
The Rolex Datejust replica has remained in continuous production since its initial introduction, and it has appeared with a wide choice of different case sizes, metal options, dials, bezels, and bracelets. While the Datejust continues to evolve as Rolex continues to improve and refine its design, the modern Datejust watch is very similar to the watch that Rolex first introduced to the public nearly 25 years ago.

In this version of our range check the underestimate watch, let’s take a look at the Turn-O-Graph. It has long been overshadowed by more representative stable partners, but in recent years (paradoxically) it has gained a certain reputation precisely because it has long been at a disadvantage in the Rolex replica lineup. Collectors with drawers full of familiar crown watches eventually turned their attention to lower-key, anonymous products and snapped up a marginalized watch from what is arguably the world’s best-selling and most popular luxury watchmaker with a genuinely novel value that sets them apart.
Introduced in 1953, The Turn-O-Graph was the first Rolex watch with a rotating ring. In fact, the concept had been around for decades, with the original patent granted to Philip Van Horn Weems, an American naval officer, and inventor, in 1929. Since the mid-1930s, the concept has been effectively applied to the replica watches of many pilots. Rolex itself created a prototype with this feature in 1937, called Xerography, which is the brand’s only ever counter chronograph.
Turn-O-Graph has always been a useful component for a variety of applications, with its novel bezels relegated almost immediately to second-tier status because of (another irony) poor scheduling. During Rolex’s true golden age, it was bad luck that also saw some legendary names such as submarine, GMT-Master, explorer, and date.
While it may have beaten out the first two ideas of spinning around, both the dive watch and the traveler’s watch have a distinct identity, which is missing from Turn-O-Graph. Even more unfair is that the first model is almost identical to the submariner in appearance.  
As a tool watch, its performance was surpassed by Sub and the GMT, and it was not as elaborate or sophisticated as the President.
The ref. 6202’s contest ended in late 1954 with only about 1000 pieces. They include a small number of honeycomb dials, as well as steel and gold dials, making them the brand’s first Rolesor sport replica watch. Its replacement, ref. 6309, marks a complete departure from the Submariner -style book that became part of the Datejust family.
Internally, the first Cal. 743 was replaced with the Cal. A260 to drive these features. Interestingly, however, there is no name for Turn-O-Graph. That said, the bezels- now a new type of decorative painting known as “engine turn” – can still be rotated and marked every 5 and 10 minutes, instead of every minute as before.
In the era before digital timing, the turn-o-graph innovative spin loop was the easiest and fastest way to measure elapsed time, so it was expected that it would eventually be used in military applications. Soon after, a ref. 6309 found itself on the wrist of a pilot from the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron, nicknamed Thunderbirds. Because minute and second timing were crucial to the world’s first supersonic aerobatic team, the Turn-O-Graph was quickly adopted by the unit and became their official timing tool.

No matter the Oyster Perpetual, the Datejust, the Day-Date, the Daytona, the Yacht-Master or other replica watches, the appealing appearance of Rolex watches are suitable for both man and woman, particularly when Rolex offer more sizes for a number of models, women are more willing to wear larger watches that regard as men’s fake watches. The fake Rolex Sky-Dweller is a sumptuous watch and shares a lot of aesthetic common ground with the iconic Rolex Day-Date President. What should be worth saying is, the Sky-Dweller adopted a brand-new, state-of-the-art movement, which featured a particular technology that allowed it to simultaneously display two different time zones, the date, the month, and an annual calendar complication as well.
Local time is showed by the conventional hands positioned in the center of the watch, while a rotating, off-center, 24-hour disc displays the second time zone. In addition, while the date on the Rolex Sky-Dweller appears in its usual place below the cyclops magnification lens, the months are also represented on the dial through windows placed on the outside of its hour markers. For instance, the four o’clock mark would represent April (the fourth month) and would appear highlighted until 1st, May.
Though a calendar feature was nothing refresh for Rolex, an annual calendar was something that had never been launched by the exceptional Swiss watch manufacturer before. Based on a mechanism called SAROS (the name comes from the Greek term for the cycle of the earth, moon, and sun), this highly-complex calendar can provide Rolex’s impressive precision and skill completely, which automatically accounts for months with different numbers of days, and only requires re-setting once on1st, March every year.
Since an annual calendar is not the same thing as a perpetual calendar, which also keeps track of leap years, owners of fake Rolex Sky-Dweller still need to reset their calendars. While timepieces with standard calendar complications require the date to be updated manually five times each year, once for each 30-day month, and once at the end of February.
It’s Rolex’s Caliber 9001 movement that creates all of these excellent and useful features, and seven of the fourteen patents that protect the Rolex Sky-Dweller pertain to its movement alone. Regarded as one of the most complex Rolex calibers, it offers 28,800 beats per hour with a 72-hour power reserve. Although the Caliber 9001 achieves the Sky-Dweller’s unique and advanced features perfectly, the bezel of the watch is used to set them actually.
Similar to the Yacht-Master II, the Ring Command bezel on the Rolex Sky-Dweller is linked directly to its movement, and allows users to switch between different modes of adjustment for the two time zones and annual calendar complication.The fluted bezel on the Rolex Sky-Dweller is not marked, but it can rotate to three different positions indeed. It allows the crown to have only one setting position through rotating, which promotes the setting process obviously. Without any additional buttons or pushers sticking out from the Sky-Dweller’s case, the date, local time, and reference time all from the crown can be set easily by wearers.  
The Rolex Sky-Dweller was designed to be the ultimate luxurious watch for frequent travelers, it was only available in 18k gold for its initial launch. However, Rolex replica has added both stainless steel and Rolesor (two-tone) options to its collection. Rolex has always produced tool watches, it’s no doubt that the Sky-Dweller is a top ‘tool watch’ for the modern workingman. As jobs move away from manual labor, it is becoming more and more important for a ‘work watch’ to match with a suit well, rather than being able to survive extreme conditions. Rolex Deepsea is the biggest watch in the Rolex collection to date. Although I don’t like heavy watches, this model is one of my best lovers among all Rolex watches. It’s rather heavy, though! If you haven’t owned a big fake watch before, this can be a little embarrassing until your wrist will get accustomed to the weight. After a while, the fake watch will feel like it is accurately sized and weighted on your wrist 
One of the important differences between an authentic Rolex watch and my Rolex Deepsea replica is the gradient dial. 2019 edition genuine Deepsea watch has nice blue to black gradient dial, while my imitation has a black dial without any gradient. The word “DEEPSEA” is perfectly positioned and has the right green color font. Another problem is the date display. The number is just not centered and aligned a bit to the left of the center of the date window.
The bezel of this Deepsea fake watch looks like it’s made of ceramic, but the markings are not as deep and “crisp” as on authentic Rolex. I was relieved to get my knockoff with this kind of bezel. I was very frightened to get one with a simple aluminum ring bezel – this would be a dead giveaway.
The case is a huge 44 mm in diameter and also very thick. This replica Rolex watch features a helium escape valve at a 9 o’clock position on the side of the case and the winding crown with a rubber o-ring. The store I bought it from warned me not to dive with this diving watch. Their warranty doesn’t cover any water damage, so swimming is also out of the question.
Authentic Rolex Deepsea comes with Perpetual Calibre 3235. Rolex replica states that patented Chronergy escapement and Parachrom hairspring features of this mechanism make the watch resistant to magnetism and mechanical shocks. My watch does come with automatic movement, but there are no markings on it, so there is no way to tell where or by whom it was manufactured. But hey, the watch is rather accurate and the second-hand sweeps smoothly and I don’t really care if it’s a Swiss, Japanese, or Chinese made mechanism.
Even though this fake Rolex looks very impressive and you might not tell the differences, at first sight, the fact that the blue dial gradient is missing and the date alignment flaw is too obvious mistakes.

We have analyzed the small details that account for vast differences in vintage Rolex watch values in this edition of The Minute Details series and we test the popular GMT-Master fake pilot’s watch. It’s not surprising that there are numerous differences to be found amongst GMT-Master replica watches from different eras since that is a model that was in great products for over twenty years. Now let’s see which amazing traits make for the biggest differences in price when looking for a vintage GMT-Master model. 
The GMT-Master watch was the second reference to be taken as Rolex’s family of pilot’s watches after the inaugural ref. 6542. The affordable fake Rolex introduced crown guards to the GMT-Master watch with its debut.
Early models came made with pointed crown guards, often nicknamed “El Cornino” by watch collectors because of their resemblance to horns. Finally, the fake Rolex replaced the pointed shape with non-pointed crown guards in the mid-1950s. Therefore, GMT-Master watches with pointed crown guards are typically much more expensive than ones with regular crown guards because of their limited production run.
The hand, together with the rotating bezel marked to 24-hours, gives access to the wearer to simultaneously reference the time in a second-time zone. It is this particular function that made the GMT-Master watch the go-to timepiece for commercial pilots. The red GMT-hand includes a luminescent arrow tip for visibility in low light conditions. 
Early examples of GMT-Master watches were equipped with 24-hour hands that featured small arrows at their tips. However, Rolex replaced the small arrow-tipped hand with a GMT-hand that had an obvious larger arrow at its tip. While the larger arrow offers more legibility, GMT-Master watches with small 24-hour hands typically command higher prices on the vintage Rolex market.
Real to the era, the first generation of GMT-Master replica watches received glossy black dials with “gilt” printing. This was the case up until 1964 when Rolex replica exchanged them for matt black dials that featured white text. We also need to find that there are two types of glossy/gilt dials – earlier ones with a chapter ring and later-era ones without a chaptering.
Just as we expected that GMT-Master watches with glossy gilt dials – particularly the ones with the chapter ring are generally much more expensive than matte black dials with white printing. There is one special variant of the matte dial that is quite rare with that in mind, and therefore more expensive than standard matte black dials: the so-called radial dials.
If completely original, glossy gilt dial versions of the GMT-Master replica watch should also have small-arrow style GMT-hands and pointed crown guards. While, don’t forget that it is quite common to see vintage Rolex watches that have spare dials, replacement hands, and other later-era replacement elements that were either put or exchanged during an after-sale service.
